On September 27, 2024, Hurricane Helene struck Asheville and Western North Carolina, leaving a wake of unimaginable devastation. Through it all, our community has shown a resilience and strength that make us proud to call this place home. We’re grateful to share that Spice Witch is on track to recover, and we’re committed to giving back as much as we can. So, when we were invited to join the 1% for AVL Initiative, we couldn’t say “yes” fast enough.
Asheville’s Business Community Stands Strong
The 1% for AVL Initiative is a coalition of local businesses, each pledging at least 1% of November and December sales to help rebuild Asheville. Together, we’re creating a way for people across the country to make a difference here by supporting small brands like ours.
