What is chili crisp?
Chili crisp is a crunchy, spoonable chili condiment: crispy garlic, shallots and chili flakes packed in oil. Every Spice Witch chili crisp jar is filled with our signature chili oil, made with avocado oil, and that's where all the complex flavor lives. Spoon it over eggs, noodles, rice, pizza, dumplings, avocado toast, or anything that's been boring you.
Crisp, oil or honey?
Chili crisp crunches, chili oil pours and hot honey drizzles. Chili crisp is for topping and texture. Chili oil is smooth and pourable, made to cook with and finish with, so it can replace your everyday cooking oil. Hot honey is real honey infused with chili and spices in a squeeze bottle, made for pizza, fried chicken and biscuits. Most people end up with all three.
What is black garlic?
Black garlic is regular garlic aged slowly with gentle heat for weeks, until the cloves turn black, soft and sweet. It isn't burnt and it isn't a different plant. The flavor is rich, almost molasses-like umami with none of raw garlic's bite. Our Black Garlic Chili Crisp folds it into our signature chili oil. Seed oils?
No. Spice Witch chili crisp and chili oil are made with avocado oil, never seed oils. That means no canola, no soybean and no sunflower. Avocado oil has a clean, light taste, so you get flavor instead of grease.
Is it spicy?
Spice Witch is flavor-first with warm, balanced heat, not a burn-your-face-off challenge. Original Chili Crisp and Hot Honey build slowly. Spicy Honey Chili Crisp balances the heat with sweetness. Want more fire? Extra Hot Honey is the hottest thing we make.
Where do I start?
Original Chili Crisp is the everyday all-rounder for eggs, rice, noodles and dumplings. Black Garlic Chili Crisp brings deep, savory umami. Spicy Honey Chili Crisp is sweet heat. Hot Honey is for pizza, biscuits and cheese boards. Can't pick? Bundles let you try more than one and cost less than buying each separately.
What's in it
Gluten-free?
Yes. Every Spice Witch product is gluten-free.
Is it vegan?
Original Chili Crisp, Black Garlic Chili Crisp and Chili Oil are vegan. Spicy Honey Chili Crisp and our honeys contain real honey and are not vegan.
Salt? MSG?
No Spice Witch products contain salt. Check each product's ingredient list for its full ingredients.
Preservatives?
No preservatives and nothing artificial. Just real, recognizable ingredients like chili, garlic, shallots, spices, avocado oil and real honey. If you can't pronounce it, it's not in the jar.
Storing it
Fridge or pantry?
No fridge needed. Keep it in the pantry or right next to your stove, where you'll actually use it. Use a clean, dry spoon every time.
How long does it last?
Each jar and bottle is best within one year. Not that it'll last that long.
My honey got thick?
Real honey naturally crystallizes over time, especially somewhere cool. It isn't spoiled. Set the bottle in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes and it'll be smooth and pourable again. Don't microwave it.

How fast do you ship?
Orders ship in 2–4 business days, with tracking emailed when they go out. Shipping is free on orders over $60. We ship within the US only for now.

Returns?
If you're not happy, return your order within 14 days of delivery for a replacement, store credit or a full refund. Return shipping is free, there are no restocking fees and nothing is final sale. Email hello@shopspicewitch.com to start a return.

Where is it made?
Spice Witch is made in small batches in our commercial kitchen just outside Asheville, North Carolina. It's woman-owned and founder-made. Sabrina is the daughter of a magician and a home chef, and every product is cooked in short runs so every jar tastes the same.
In stores?
Spice Witch is stocked in 70+ independent shops and grocers. Use the Find Us map to find one near you.
Wholesale?
