Spice Witch is back at Asheville City Market every Saturday morning through the 2025 season—right in the heart of North Market Street in downtown Asheville. From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, we’re slinging bold flavors, offering full samples, and stocking your pantry with some serious heat.
Location:
North Market Street between Woodfin and Walnut Streets. The street closes to traffic during market hours, transforming into a pedestrian-friendly haven filled with fresh food, good people, and Asheville-made magic. We’re right in the middle of the action.
2025 Market Hours:
April through December: Saturdays, 9 AM – 12 PM
Winter Market (January–March): 10 AM – 1 PM
Closed the last two weeks of the year.
Free parking is easy:
HomeTrust Bank lot (121 College St)
Family Justice Center lot (across from the YMCA at 35 Woodfin Street)
Handicapped parking is available. You can also hop on the bus—N1 and N2 routes stop a block away on Broadway.
We bring the full lineup every week, and we’re not shy with the samples:
Chili Crisp: Crunchy, garlicky, umami-rich, and a crowd favorite.
Chili Oil: Perfect for frying eggs, drizzling on bowls, or sneaking into dressings.
Hot Honey (in a squeeze bottle): Sweet heat made for pizza, biscuits, roasted veggies—whatever you’re eating next.
If you haven’t tried our flavors yet, this is the best place to do it. And if you’re already hooked, you know where to re-up.
While you’re there, make a morning of it—some of our favorite local makers will be set up too:
High Top Bread – Naturally leavened, rustic loaves that sell out fast.
Honey Badger Bakes – Gluten-free pastries that do not taste like compromise.
French Broad Pastry – Small-batch sauces, spreads, and pickles made just up the road.
It’s a weekly showcase of the best Asheville has to offer—farmers, bakers, fermenters, and flavor fanatics.
The City Market is more than a shopping trip—it’s a Saturday ritual. Great food, great people, and a direct connection to the makers. Come chat with us, try something new, and bring home a little flavor magic.
