Spice Witch is for people who flip the jar around before buying it.
If you read the label first, you are our people.
We started Spice Witch because we wanted bold, crave worthy flavor without shortcuts. Seed oil free chili oil, chili crisp, and spicy honey made with intention. Ingredients that actually do something. Jars that earn permanent counter space.
Our founder, Sabrina, genuinely loves grocery shopping. The slow kind. Wandering aisles. Reading labels. Comparing oils. Grocery shopping is her affordable luxury. A low cost way to slow down, get curious, and choose food that feels good to bring home.
If you have ever spent too long in the oil aisle reading ingredient lists, welcome. That curiosity is where Spice Witch begins.
We do not use seed oils.
Not because it is trendy.
Because they do not belong in the kind of cooking we care about.
We use avocado oil because it carries heat, aromatics, and flavor without flattening the food. It lets garlic taste like garlic. Chiles taste like chiles. It makes our chili oil, chili crisp, and spicy honey taste the way they should.
You can see that when you read the label.
If you are actively looking for seed oil free brands and restaurants, Seed Oil Scout is a helpful resource for finding like minded spots.
Good food should not require a decoder ring.
You should recognize the ingredients. Understand why they are there. And feel good about using them often.
No filler. No mystery oils. Just real flavor.
That same mindset is why we are proud to be stocked on the shelves at Beradu Restaurant and Ecusta Market.
Two local, seed oil free focused shops near Asheville that care about ingredients as much as we do.
If you read the label first
If you care about flavor more than trends
If you want food that feels intentional but still fun
You are in the right place.
Welcome to Spice Witch.
Real honey with a slow, building chili burn — bold, sticky, and built for the squeeze. The heat shows up after the sweet. A smooth, pourable honey in a squeeze bottle made for the table, not the back of the pantry.
This isn't your average chili honey. Spice Witch Hot Honey is real honey with a slow, building chili burn — bold, sticky, and built for the squeeze. The heat shows up after the sweet, so it works on everything from breakfast to a cheese board. This is a smooth, pourable hot honey sauce in a squeeze bottle, made for the table, not the back of the pantry.
Real honey, real chili, no shortcuts — and a squeeze bottle made for drizzling. Because the heat builds after the sweetness lands, it stays friendly enough for breakfast and bold enough for a cheese board.
Want a crunchy, spoonable topping instead? Try our Spicy Honey Chili Crisp.
Spice Witch makes two sweet-and-spicy products. This one is the smooth, pourable squeeze bottle. Want the crunch instead? Go to Spicy Honey Chili Crisp. Want both? See the Hot Honey Duo bundle ($35.99).
What is the difference between Hot Honey and Spicy Honey Chili Crisp?
Hot Honey is a smooth, pourable honey in a squeeze bottle that you drizzle. Spicy Honey Chili Crisp is a crunchy, spoonable jar of sticky-savory crispy bits you scoop onto food. Same sweet-heat idea, two different formats.
Is this hot honey crunchy or pourable?
It's smooth and pourable, packed in a squeeze bottle — not a crunchy crisp.
Is Hot Honey good on pizza?
Yes — drizzle it on a slice of hot pizza fresh from the oven.
How do I use hot honey?
Drizzle it on pizza, fried chicken, biscuits, waffles, and goat cheese; glaze salmon or roasted carrots; or swirl it into hot tea.
Where is it made?
Made in small batches in Asheville, North Carolina. Spice Witch is woman-owned and founder-made.
