We’re excited to share that Spice Witch is returning to the Asheville City Market this year — and we can’t wait to see our community every Saturday.
If you haven’t been yet, Asheville City Market is one of the most vibrant year-round farmers markets in downtown Asheville, bringing together fresh produce, artisan foods, local makers, and a strong sense of community each weekend.
You’ll find the market along North Market Street in downtown Asheville, where the street closes to traffic and transforms into a walkable hub for local food and craft.
• April–December: Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• January–March: Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Closed the final two Saturdays of the year
The pedestrian setup makes it easy to stroll, sample, shop, and connect with the people behind the products.
Asheville City Market is a producer-only market, meaning every vendor grows, raises, or makes what they sell. That commitment to local sourcing is part of what makes it so special.
Expect a thoughtfully curated mix of:
• Seasonal produce from regional farms
• Fresh breads, pastries, and prepared foods
• Local meats, dairy, and eggs
• Honey, herbal goods, and handmade crafts
• Live music and an easy, welcoming atmosphere
You’ll also find some incredible local vendors that make the market a weekly destination. Favorites often include French Broad Pastry, known for their artisan breads and pastries, and Lee’s One Fortune Farm, a beloved local farm offering fresh produce and seasonal goods grown right here in Western North Carolina.
It’s the kind of market where you can build a full weekend spread while discovering something new each visit.
Asheville City Market is one of our favorite places to connect face-to-face with customers and fellow makers. The conversations, the shared recipes, the familiar faces — it’s a reminder of why we started Spice Witch in the first place.
There’s something special about watching someone pick up a jar of chili oil while chatting about how they’ll use it that night. It’s local food culture at its best.
A few tips to enjoy the market fully:
• Bring a tote for easy carrying
• Come early for the best selection
• Grab a coffee and take your time exploring
• Talk to vendors — stories are part of the experience
Because Asheville City Market takes place along North Market Street in downtown Asheville, parking is typically found in nearby public garages, surface lots, and metered street parking throughout downtown.
Common nearby parking options include:
• Wall Street Parking Garage
• Rankin Avenue Parking Garage
• Civic Center Garage (Haywood Street)
• Metered street parking around Market Street and Walnut Street
Arriving earlier in the morning usually makes parking easiest, and once you're downtown the entire market area is easily walkable.
We’ll be at Asheville City Market every Saturday throughout the season with your favorite Spice Witch staples, new releases, and plenty of samples.
Stop by, stock up, and spend the morning with us on North Market Street.

This isn't your average chili honey. Spice Witch Hot Honey is real honey with a slow, building chili burn — bold, sticky, and built for the squeeze.
Real honey, real chili, no shortcuts — and a squeeze bottle made for the table, not the back of the pantry. The heat shows up after the sweet, so it works on everything from breakfast to a cheese board. Drizzle it, glaze with it, or eat it off the spoon; there's no wrong way to use it.
Hit a slice of hot pizza or a piece of fried chicken and thank us later. Drizzle it over a warm biscuit, swirl it into hot tea, glaze salmon or roasted carrots, or pour it across goat cheese before you spread it. Even better on a waffle when you want sweet heat.
Pro tip: Leave it on the counter so it doesn't get lost in the pantry. Or better yet, bring it to the table with you.
Small-batch. Made in Asheville with real ingredients and a little bit of magic.
