Details Below!
We’re getting excited, our 7th Annual Pig Pickin’ is almost here. We try to make it bigger and better every year and I think so far..so good!
We’re lining up our Pit Masters and are excited to have some new teams along with the OG’s. We’re also happy to tell you that we’ll be adding some new craft vendors.
The day begins…. Live music kicks the day off, from 12-3pm. “Wiregrass”, an incredibly talented 5-piece Blue-grass band will headline from 330-630p. We’ll be jamming all day!
Craft vendors will surround the lawn area selling their special products all day. Plus, to hold you over for the real feast, our “grill sergeant” will be cooking up some hot dogs from 12p until the feast begins!
The FEAST
We will start with our BBQ and sauce competitions. Take a walk on the side lawn and visit each of our Pitmasters! Like years past, YOU will decide which Pitmaster takes home the trophy for their world class pulled pork AND sauce.
Cory will be manning the “La Caja China” whole hog BBQ. He will infuse the hog with mojo and our proprietary blend of herbs and spices. This makes for a flavorful, moist protein with some delicious “bark” to pair alongside our house-made trimmings. Whole hog not your favorite? No worries, we’ll have PLENTY of 12 hour smoked heritage pork butts to enjoy!
In addition, we will be serving the best homemade baked beans you’ve ever had, simmered all night in our ovens. Deliciously cheesy homestyle mac and cheese? YUP! How about our 5-generation old family coleslaw? YOU BET! We’ll also have delicious house-made green beans (with bacon!!), corn casserole and cornbread! How about dessert? The best banana pudding you’ve ever encountered and Karen’s homemade brownies are on another level. The kind of desserts that make you consider starting with the sweets and working backwards from there!
This event has a history of selling out fast so don’t wait too long to secure your place at the biggest Parker-Binns party of the year! Rain or shine, we’ll have it covered!
